The apartment is on Rue de Lappe, a cobble stoned street, lined with restaurants, bars and cafes and

almost no cars and just around the corner from Apartment 2. It is quiet during the day and bustling in the

evening, on the 3rd Floor (no lift access) and overlooking the street. ( with very effective Double glazing)

  The immediate area around the apartment boasts many cafes, restaurants, bread and cake shops

as well as a supermarket and an outdoor fresh food market.

                 The Marais and Place des Vosges are within a 10 min walk and it's an easy walk to Notre Dame,

                     The Latin Quarter ,St. Michel , the Pompidou Centre and Hotel de Ville.

                         Metro station:  Bastille (lines 1, 5, 8) or Ledru Rollin (line 8). Both are just around the corner

                                                                                         from the  apartment.   

                 Easy access from CDG airport by RER train to Gare du Nord and then metro line 5,   

directly to Bastille Metro stop. Around 45 mins airport to apartment.               

The Apartment is in a late  1700’s building, built just after the fall of Bastille as

a convent and much later converted into apartments.  It is L shaped and approximately

36 sq. Metres in area,  with exposed oak beams in the kitchen and livingroom ceilings.

Renovated in 2006 and can comfortably sleep up to 4 people,  the heating consists of individual

electric thermostat wall panels in each room. Just set and forget  and the apartment maintains an even temperature.

The apartment is equipped with crockery, cutlery, linen, towels, saucepans, kitchen utensils,

coffee machine, toaster, kettle, hairdryer, iron, stereo/dvd,  unlimited internet,

laptop,  printer, cable TV

                             Stereo/dvd , laptop.
